Residents can enjoy a day of golfing fun while supporting new advances in the treatment of cancer patients.
The Sun Health Foundation will host the Driving FORE Superior Health Care on Saturday, April 17th, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Topgolf, 6101 N. 99th Ave., Glendale. Single and group tickets can be purchased for the charity golf day.
This state-of-the-art venue offers pinpoint golf games for all skill levels, including non-golfers.
The charity day will end with music, food and other activities. The game is tournament style.
The day of golf will benefit the treatment and advancement of the fight against cancer, an initiative of the Sun Health Foundation Generosity for Generations Campaign. Medics, patients and survivors are honored in the fight against cancer.
Participants can form their own team or the organizers join them on a team for fun and a friendly competition. More competitions are offered for added excitement. Prizes are awarded. For those who feel they could use a few pointers, a professional golfer is available with tips. The entire VIP floor is turned into a private party with great food and drink.
Particular attention is paid to the need for security. Safety measures are implemented at Topgolf, including wearing masks and social distancing.
