“We also had some of the best health and wellbeing experts giving presentations throughout the day so everyone felt more informed and inspired.

“The event really demonstrated how strong and important our mental health and well-being are in these challenging times – everything we want to promote at SooYoga.”

There were presentations by expert speakers on all aspects of physical and mental wellbeing, as well as a marketplace of Northamptonshire producers selling natural foods, beverages, jewelry, clothing and health products.

The money raised from the sale of their products will now be donated to the Lewis Foundation – a local charity that provides free gifts and support packages to adult cancer patients.

Suneil, who has over 15 years of personal training, exercise therapy and Pilates rehabilitation experience, said, “Since the last 18 months have been a roller coaster ride for everyone, it has been great to give our local community the opportunity to celebrate wellness and health and talk about physical and mental well-being.

“It also felt great to raise money for such a rewarding local cause. The Lewis Foundation is doing an incredible job and we are excited to support it. “

The money raised from the Family Wellbeing Fair will fund a total of 208 gift packages for the Lewis Foundation that will be made available to adult cancer patients.

Lewis Foundation Co-Founder Lorraine Lewis added, “We are so grateful to Suneil and Kristina for choosing to support the Lewis Foundation with their amazing wellness event. It was great to see so many members of the community as well as the patients we support took part in all of the activities.

“It was a really wonderful way to bring the community back together too and help us raise funds and raise awareness of our work while we continue to make a difference to adults receiving cancer treatment in the hospital.”
